Thats what he said!

Welcome to my little corner of the interwebs!  Pull up a chair, grab a drink and get comfortable.  I hope to make you laugh, or at least smile and shake your head....although sometimes you may find yourself wondering (like I do) "WTF??"  Some of the craziness of online dating is just too good not to share!  I've been saying for a while now that I need to write a book....but that's a little intimidating!  So, I'll just start by sharing one story at a time.

 

If the title and tag line didn't make it clear for you, this is not a blog for those who are easily offended.  You will find adult humor, sarcasm, innuendo and some profanity here - if those things offend you, please move along!  

 

The goal here is HUMOR.  I am not bashing any gender or group.  I am simply highlighting some of what happens because people are behind a computer instead of face to face.   This is a phenomenon that has been documented in many other areas of online interaction, and online dating is no exception!

 

Despite what you will see here, I'm a fan of online dating.  There are many people out there for the right reasons, and I believe that it is possible to find someone special.  Marketing for the dating sites tell us that there are many success stories.   I have met some really nice people and made some good friends - oh, yes, I'm one of those who do believe that men and women can actually be friends.  However, there are equally as many people there for other reasons, and that is where the hilarity begins!  

 

Faces and names will be changed, or blurred, to protect the anonymity of the ...er....innocent?  However, all of what you read here is something that actually happened....seriously....I couldn't make it up if I tried!
